Julaine is a Colvic Victor, 40’ blue
water cruising yacht.

the Caribbean/Atlantic circuit with her current owners, who found her to be
a safe and comfortable home/cruiser.
Julaine has a Thorneycroft 154
engine, in sound working condition.
The vessel comes with all of the equipment required for
a long distance cruising/liveaboard yacht, including 406 Epirb, Icom SSB,
Monitor wind pilot, Ampair wind generator and a water maker.
Julaine has a cutter, ketch rig, with Profurl in-boom
furling on main and mizzen, which is virtually
new, having been fitted in 2007
through the insurers when the existing one was damaged.
Profurl roller furling, also new, is on the staysail and genoa.
All sails are in good condition and were new in 2007.
In the galley is a Taylors paraffin cooker, with two
burners, grill and oven.
There are six good berths, in three cabins.
A large double aft, two sea berths midships and a large double in the
forepeak. There are also two
heads/washrooms.
Although Julaine is something of a faded beauty, every
essential is there for blue water cruising, and with a modicum care and
attention she can be restored to her former glory.

Nils is a
pretty, steel yacht, 25’ 10” overall, and built in 1961 by Clipper Marine in
Holland, to a Lemstra
design.
She draws 5’ and displaces a little over 5 tons, but
gives a maximum of 6’ 8” headroom in the saloon.
She has been surveyed regularly
over the past 15 years, the latest one being in 2009 when she was sounded
and found, apart from two areas of thin plating which have been replaced, to
be very sound.
Since that remedial work was done, she has not
been relaunched.
The rig is aluminium, and ‘Nil’ has a full sail wardrobe,
all of which are in either good or very good condition.
Auxiliary propulsion is by way of a SABB 10 hp diesel
engine driving a shaft and variable pitch propellor.
‘Nils’ has four berths in 2
cabins, and a separate heads, which has a Baby Blake sea toilet therein.
She has all of the expected
navigation equipment and included in the price is an
Avon
‘Redstart’ dinghy and 2 hp Yamaha outboard.
‘Nils’ is an example of a very
well built Dutch design yacht.
A truly capable sea boat which could do with
updating, but is, essentially, one which could immediately put to sea.
